OUR STORY

Greg and Kel Kelly and their two children Lauren and Hannah at Juandah Grazing have resided at Giligulgul, Guluguba Qld (near Wandoan) since 2004. Juandah Grazing consistently runs stud, commercial and organic breeders since this time. The property is approximately 5000 acres, running 300 Angus/Brahman cross commercial breeders and 100 Charolais and Charbray stud breeders. Majority of these breeders are put back to our Charolais bulls, which produce our prime carcass cattle which tick all the boxes for us as beef producers. At weaning time, we draft off our selected steers for carcass competitions we enter throughout the year, and the remaining steers and cull heifers are either sold to our local feedlots or put up onto the market through Auction Plus.   Our stud weaners are keep as replacements and hand picked bulls are sold at the Lilydale Invitational Charolais Bull Sale every year at Toogoolawah in July.  

The key focuses we’ve implemented in our cattle, since inception has been fertility, temperament, softness, soundness and more importantly carcass quality.

Based on these focuses we have strived for throughout the years of our establishment, have been rewarded with a range success in the carcase arena and prime ring in past with winning accolades at the Brisbane Exhibition (Ekka) Paddock to Palate, Beef – Rockhampton, Wandoan Beef Bonanza Competition, and the Charolais Society Carcase Competition.
